GA Wings release the 2025 Cross LW

GA Wings release the latest version of their lightwind Cross wing. Here's the details…

Following its highly successful debut in 2024, we now proudly introduce the 2025 Cross LW – your ultimate companion for wing foiling in light-wind conditions. Designed to harness even the gentlest breezes, this wing delivers outstanding low-end power, smooth handling and effortless pumping, ensuring you make the most of every session on the water.

The refined three strut construction provides unmatched stability, while maintaining a compact wingspan for enhanced maneuverability. Shorter wingtips with a more pronounced cut minimize water contact, making take-offs and transitions smoother than ever. The advanced BAT Panel Layout and VoltNova spinnaker materials ensure precise tension and efficient power distribution, offering a responsive and controlled ride.

Just as the brand-new Cross the 2025 Cross LW now features a longer front handle and is compatible with our optional one-piece boom. To further push the limits of light-wind performance, the Cross LW is now available in two additional bigger sizes, which combines into a range of 6.7 m², 7.2 m², 7.7 m² and 8.2 m².

KEY FEATURES

BAT PANEL LAYOUT
Segmented panels in the front lead to the perfect definition of the profile, while perpendicular panels in the back minimize stretch. The result is ideal load distribution and maximized dimension stability, while durability and lightness are optimized.

OPTIONAL ULTRAGRIP BOOM
The optional UltraGrip one-piece boom combines the ergonomic grip of our UltraGrip handles with all advantages of a single piece boom – unlimited grip options.

FORCETEC DACRON MATERIAL
Innovative ForceTec Dacron material maximizes stiffness, lightness and durability of the wing's leading edge and strut skeleton. The four central panels and the head panel are manufactured in a double layer construction in order to strengthen the section bearing the highest load.

VOLTNOVA SPINNAKER
Our cutting-edge VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker supplied by Teijin in the front and center section of the Cross LW perfectly combines lightness, robustness and neutralizes stretch, which optimizes load distribution over a long period.

VOLTNOVA+ TRAILING EDGE
VoltNova+ double ripstop supplied by Teijin is significantly stiffer, more durable and robust. This innovative material is perfectly suited to stabilize the Cross LW's trailing edge and enhance the wing's overall longevity and also lightness.

THREE STRUT CONSTRUCTION
The Cross LW's three strut construction allows us to reduce the wing span, while keeping stability in the profile at the highest level. This results in low-end power, but also controllability and unmatched pumping characteristics.

BALANCED TENSION PROFILE
Perfectly balanced tension between the leading and trailing edge leads to optimized profile stability and easier handling.

SEPARATE AIR CELLS
The leading edge and strut are in- and deflated through two separate SUP valves, which allows you to tune your Cross LW wing with individual pressures.

KEVLAR ABRASION PROTECTION
Kevlar patches protect the seams on the leading edge and strut, maximizing stability and durability in the toughest conditions.

360 VIEW WINDOWS
One window with a longer outline on each side of the strut provides 360 degree view, while the special window material prevents creases.

Whether you’re gliding over calm waters, maximizing light-wind days, or pushing your skills further, the 2025 Cross LW makes wing foiling effortless and exhilarating. Experience the freedom of riding with minimal effort and maximum fun.
