Where are you based and when were you established?
We were established in 1985. We are still and will always have our base in Germany. In 2022, we inaugurated our second international office in Tarifa. For four years now, our international team has been split and works from different places in Europe: Tarifa, Munich, Paris, Marseille, Kos… Then we have centers in Fuerteventura, Tarifa, Golf de Roses, Safaga, Mauritius, Cabarete, Cape Verde, Essaouira and Dakhla, Greece…
Where are most of your clients from?
Most our clients come from Germany, France, England, Spain and Switzerland. However, we also have a lot of clients from Austria, Italy, Poland and Eastern Europe. At ION CLUB, you will meet like-minded people from all over the world and our company has always given top priority to customer orientation, team spirit, innovation and professionalism.
How long have you and your team been foiling?
Our company was one of the first to offer foiling as an option back in 2020, right at the beginning of this amazing new sport.

Can you talk us through some special moments from your most recent trip/season?
We are very happy to tell you that all our ION CLUB centers are now fully equipped with wingfoil gear. With a large range of Duotone, our centers are ready to welcome you and share with you this fabulous sport. Whether you are a beginner or already an advanced foiler, you will be able to enjoy sessions worldwide with only the best of Duotone.
The ION CLUB in Cabarete has moved location. Our new home is still located directly on the spot, at the Villa Taina hotel, on Cabarete Beach. Moreover, our ION CLUB in Mauritius is re-inventing itself, and you can find us at several points all over the spot and particularly now, in a beautiful brand-new shop in La Gaulette, dedicated to wingfoil and La Pointe spot, the main spot of Le Morne for foiler lovers. All the other centers are also experiencing renovations.
Lastly, we are proud to welcome Matchu Lopes and Rita Arnaus into the ION CLUB family as our ION CLUB Ambassador. We hope for many more to join.
